This notice explains how EML Systems d.o.o. processes personal data through the Kalorika website.
Scope
This notice applies to kalorika.app, including website sign-in and profile access. It does not cover the Kalorika mobile app or future subscription purchases; those will have their own information when available.

Data we process
- Your language preference, stored in the NEXT_LOCALE cookie for up to one year.
- If you sign in, authentication session data and the account information needed to show your profile, such as your email address, display name, sign-in provider, account creation date, and optional avatar.
- Information you include when you contact support.
- Anonymous website-use statistics, such as pages viewed, visit duration, referrer, approximate region, general browser and device type, and clicks on links to other websites. We do not use session replay or connect analytics to your Kalorika account.
Why we process it
- To provide sign-in and profile access when you ask to use them. The legal basis is performance of our agreement with you or steps taken at your request before an agreement.
- To protect the website and accounts, prevent abuse, and resolve technical errors. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure service.
- To remember your selected language using a necessary preference cookie. This is necessary to provide the website in your selected language.
- To answer support and privacy requests. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to you or, where relevant, steps taken at your request.
- To understand which parts of the website are useful and improve them.
Who receives data
- If you choose Apple or Google to sign in, the provider you choose receives the information needed to complete sign-in.
- We use trusted service providers to operate the website and accounts. They process personal data only as needed to provide those services for us.
- OpenPanel AB provides privacy-focused, cookieless website analytics. OpenPanel states that it does not store raw IP addresses or persistent identifiers.
Cookies
The website uses cookies needed to remember your language and maintain a signed-in session. OpenPanel analytics is cookieless and does not store an analytics identifier in your browser.
Retention
The website does not keep a separate persistent copy of your profile. We keep support messages only for as long as needed to respond and handle follow-up. Authentication and account data used through the website are kept only while your account is active, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, or claims purposes. Analytics events are retained while our OpenPanel project is active or until we delete them sooner.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Contact us to exercise a right or ask a privacy question. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia.
